Q2 Why do people make errors?

Errors happen for many reasons but the most common kinds happen because of natural vulnerabilities of our senses, memory and other mental processes over which we have limited control. Adverse influences trigger these natural vulnerabilities or amplify their effects. Being clever, careful or highly motivated provides less protection against error than is commonly imagined.
